preface
Organic flower is plants and shrubs / trees grown without pesticide and
chemical fertilizer. This Organic Flower Research Association shall
cherish “interaction between plants and human, and organic partnership
layers in living together”
However, in recent years, chemically grown flower products could have helplessly
deteriorated physical health of gardeners, farmers, flower distributers,
shop workers, and even also consumers. In such circumstance, not
neglecting or excluding inorganic flower production and market delivery,
but developing systems of organic flower production and logistics in each
best season including greenhouse production, and developing social community
structure for safe and secured flower enjoyment at ordinary home may be
expected and anticipated.
In responding such expectation, OFRA, Organic Flower Research Association,
shall develop platform where Flower Farmers, market creators and distributors,
shop workers, designers, and arrangement instructors can understand the
value of naturally-grown flower, increase production volume to respond
the current needs, PR, and deliver beneficial information for terminal
customers to enjoy seasonal flower quality/quantity as they wish.
Besides, OFRA wants to start interaction and workshops to learn from professional
organic flower groups and associations in countries such as Europe and
the United States, where advanced organic flower industry has already settled.
Of course, already-organized organic flower-oriented groups in Japan are
in need through information delivery and skill development for mutual growth
in common goods. Facebook and webpage is designated SNS tools for
members communication (update 2014)
